I should have written ; Bus Trip to Canada, but Road Trip sounds cooler ahah.
Want to hear a funny story ? As I was backing up my MacBook onto TimeMachine, I opened my hard-drive and randomly found all these photos from this old trip to Toronto and Niagara.
SO this is a HUGE THROWBACK to SEPTEMBER 2014, the 24th of September, so basically 5 days before we went on this trip, I turned 18yo, and as 18yo is really symbolic in France (and also probably everywhere else) this trip has been my birthday gift.
With a few friends of mine from my school, we all booked this trip which took us to the amazing city of Niagara where we stayed for the whole weekend, we also explored Toronto for a day, in total 3 days in Canada before going back to New York City,
As soon as we got to our hotel we went out exploring this city, Niagara, which was like a small version of Disney land, and I’m not even joking, the streets were full of candy shops, haunted houses, ferry wheel, restaurants and night clubs which I couldn’t go to as yo must be over 19… So I drank water ahah
Toronto kind of looked pretty similar to NYC in some ways, oh yeah we also went all the way up this famous CN Tower, which used to be one of the tallest building in the world back a couple years ago.
Back in Niagara, we got on this boat which brought us basically right next to the falls, we’ve been given some plastic t-shirt sort of to avoid getting wet, as we were “sailing”. One of the most exciting thing I’ve ever done though was once we got out of the boat, go at the bottom of the falls by walking through this thing which looked like a platform, and to be honest I took the biggest “shower” of my entire life, cold shower…. and I stayed wet for the rest of the day ahah.
But once we were done, it was already time to go home… NYC. These 3 days went by so fast, it was hard to leave..
Oh and I ended up buying a huge bottle of Maple Syrup as a gift that I shipped all the way to France for my mum 🙂
Enough bla-bla, here are the pictures, I hope you guys enjoy this article as much as I enjoyed writing it 🙂
